How to use our test kit (to capture an air sample)
  • Take test bag out, unfold and remove both red caps. (keep for later)
  • Connect manifold with (346, 347, Scuba) adaptor. Next, connect to your source.
  • Attach the testing bag to the manifold and turn on your source. Run for 3 minutes.
  • Turn off source and disconnect bag. Replace both red caps on bag.

How to fill out the information card
  • Fill out all areas of the info card.
  • Provide as much information as possible, as some fields will appear on your report.
  • Write as clear and as legibly as possible.
  • Fillable PDF or use our app on your phone.  (contact us for the app)
How to ship the sample kit back to Safety Lab Plus, Inc.
  • Single box (one sample): return your sample in the box along with adaptors to SLP.
  • Quarterly box (four samples): only return one sample at a time using the poly-mailers provided. You will be notified when your next sample is due. When you have completed the final sample, send the entire box with sample and adaptors back to SLP.
  • Semi-annual box (two samples): only return one sample at a time using the poly-mailer provided. You will be notified when your next sample is due. When you have completed the final sample, send the entire box with sample and adaptors back to SLP.
  • If using USPS, make sure you have the proper amount of postage on the poly-mailer/box.
Is our test kit DOT approved for non hazardous shipping?
  • Yes, our sample kit meets or exceeds DOT 49 CFR for non-hazardous shipping.
What test standard should I select?
  • That depends on your industry or application
  • Fire Fighting typically uses NFPA, while Scuba typically uses CGA
